Our Story Thus Far...

Transprompt Freight (TF) is a privately-owned Malaysian company focused in providing best in class logistics solutions to small and medium enterprises (SME) in order to give them a significant edge in highly competitive market environment.

Founded on October 24, 2000 by Mr Stephen Chang, TF's main service offering at that time was container consolidation services to East Malaysia, i.e. Less Container Load (LCL).

From 2000 to 2010, TF added international airfreighting, air console to East Malaysia, trucking and distribution solutions to the logistics solutions we offer making us a one stop logistics solutions provider.  In March 2004, Freight Mark Holdings (FM) - one of largest domestic logistics player became a major shareholder of TF allowing TF to have access to FM’s wide ranging logistics infrastructure ranging from haulage services to warehouse facilities.  In 2010, TF also started the only LCL reefer sea freight solution to major ports in EM. Even today, TF is still the only company that provide regular scheduled LCL reefer sea freight deliveries to East Malaysia with weekly sailings.

In 2014, we ventured into cold chain transportation. We currently operate a fleet of reefer trucks doing multiple drops throughout Peninsular Malaysia for international fast-food restaurants, supermarkets, distributors.  We are among the top 10 cold chain transporters in Malaysia.  We are also one of the few standalone cold chain transporters that are certified halal by JAKIM. 

As we have grown significantly in the last decade, we now set a goal to be a world class logistics company within the next 10 years!
